Exercise Tips For This Era

When it is time to exercise, many people construct many barriers to their own fitness. Any seemingly rational excuse seems a valid justification for avoiding the local gym and everything that happens inside that gym. Here are two of the most common excuses people give for not exercising and positive ways to get around those excuses.

I just do not have the time to exercise.
Busy people use this one all the time. Work, children, spouses, crossword puzzles, and social media time all come before keeping their bodies in shape. The truth is exercise does not always have to be an extended activity that lasts continuously for an hour in a fitness club like Spectrum. You can squeeze in short, brisk walking during any of your down time during the day. This includes lunch, work breaks, or travel to and from work, if you live close enough to walk or ride a bike.

I am usually too tired after work to exercise.
This is an understandable excuse. If you have been going all day, your body craves rest. However, you could do some things different during your day to curb fatigue. Get enough sleep the night before, eat energy-rich foods, work out in the mornings before you leave for work, and make sure you always have a gym bag in your car. This excuse could be lumped in with the "I am too lazy" excuse. Take care of yourself through your diet and set realistic expectations for yourself. This will ensure that you start to meet your fitness goals.
